Let's start at a Z87-Pro (i5-4590). I have dual channel @ 16gbx2/24gb. I am currently running Evga GTX750 to (2gb). I have ssd for os and secondary. (HDD/SSD not needed) My task for the day is a lot of graphic design and Arma 3. I am anticipating many to say "I have enough".The question I seeking a answer for is. I have about $150.00 to spend. Do I invest in RAM or Video Card. Now, here is trick question. My Ram. I have 1st channel running CL7 (10666) 2nd channel I have 1xCL10 (1600) 1xCL10 (1866). Do I invest in revamping my RAM (Suggestion if can see possible issue) OR Spend on UPGRADED Graphics card (offer suggestion). Thanks in advanced. I have been doing my research but always ended up here with someone with same question but not the same specs.

Right now, graphics cards are super expensive due to cryptocurrency miners. Unfortunately, that's what your build needs the most. If you can wait, do it.

As for RAM, for the most part as long as it works, you're not really going to see a huge improvement by getting a full new kit, despite how janky that RAM configuration sounds

Save your money imo.

"Janky". I like that one. Good description. I was leaning more towards graphics card.I see that a lot "save money" or "wait until...". Both were good a year ago when I was running ATI HD2600 XT. Then of course had to do something and ended up getting my GTX 750 ti. So many people make then told me to "wait". A year has gone by. And per the OP. I plan to get either GC or "unjank" my RAM. I don't plan nor care for any bitcoining. I see that a lot in the "pros & cons". I am looking more at core/max clock speed and/or cuda cores. Been looking at GTX 1050 ti. That looks like a "wait" tho newegg just had the SC ver.for 124.00. Now I seen the gtx 970 depending where u look it can be cheaper. But clock and cuda way more. The ram is easy. As of current. Ddr3 8gb 1866 for 62.00 so, x2 is 120.00. As stated I have 150.00 budget. Just have not read a "straight foward" answer. Spend the 150.00 on video card or ram. Which should be priority with submitted task that I do on PC. (Shaking the 8 ball) but would like suggestions and reason. Thanks in advanced.
