Need sub $500 laptop for video/photo editing.

Hi everyone!

I am looking for a sub $500 laptop for some light video/photo editing. I need one for school and I have around $500 to work with. I will be using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Sony Vegas.

What I'm looking for:
- A quad-core CPU
- At least 4GB RAM (6-8GB preferably)
- A decent battery life. (Enough to get through 3-4 hours a day)
- A discrete GPU would be a great bonus but not essential
- 1080p screen ideal, can work with 900p
- Windows 7/8 64X

*Before anyone recommends that I just build a PC, I have. I just need something to carry with me throughout the day for school and work.

You could try and find the acer aspire v3 with a gt 840m. Or you could search for a hp laptop which are good at this. Toshiba laptops are also an alternative.
