Question need sugestion for bios update

my Board is MSI B450 A pro Max and currently bios version is 7B86vMD and the lastest is 7B86vML, but I still don't know if this Bios needs updating because the latest one has security patches or it's still like the old days "don't update BIOS, unless you update CPU"

at this board i use
ryzen 5 5600
rx 6600

According to your motherboard's support site;

BIOS version 7B86vMF is necessary for your motherboard prior to you dropping the Ryzen 5 5600 onto the CPU's socket.

If I were you, I'd flash to the latest version for piece of mind.
