Need suggestion for 1440p 144hz 27" monitor

Hi all I need monitor suggestion for 1440p 144Hz 27" monitor

- I only use it for gaming and watching movies/youtube
- I don't need fancy features or Free sync / G sync
- My PC is running single GTX 1080
- Preferred brands: ASUS, Acer, BenQ
- Pricing: As cheap as possible for all these 3 brands, then I will compare between these 3 brands choices to see which best suit me

Also would like to ask a question, I read from some where that in order to project 144hz, the cable has to be either dual link DVI or display port, is it true? or can I use any cable?
