Need suggestion to some few upgrades

I have gpu GeForce gtx 750
Cpu AMD Phenom II x4 955 processor
Memory 8 gb ram
Board ASUSTek computer inc. M5A97 R2.0
I have a budget about 500usd,can i upgrade the processor only and use the current motherboard or buy new one and use the old gpu? Or should i buy all of them new altogether
I can play latest games on medium if you need to know

You can upgrade the CPU, motherboard, and RAM at $300 and use the remaining $200 to buy an RX 480. Congrats, now you are able to play ANY (except a few poorly optimized ones) games at 1080p at High-Ultra settings for some years.
