Okay, here's my issue. I was trying to put my i3 in the Asrock H61M motherboard. But then I realized that the HP OEM cooler did not want to fit.

No matter what I do, it won't fit.

So I need suggestions for a CPU cooler that will fit...

It has to be within the $40-$50 range and be able to fit in the board.

Yes, the Hyper TX3 is a excellent cooler and it will fit in your HAF-912.

Please let me know if you have any more questions

The Cooler Master HAF 912....

I did a little looking of my own and I found the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 for $21.99 at my local Microcenter. After spending money on the mobo and PSU, I don't have too much money left to spend on the cooler.

Will this fit?

Here's the mobo:

Oh, I may have forgot to mention. This isn't the Intel Stock Cooler that comes with i3's, this is OEM one that uses a custom cooler by HP.

This cooler will not work without the backplate on the OEM board(Which I cannot remove), so I'm looking for a new one.

Hmm, upon further inspection the tx3 just doesn't seem to fit in this mobo.

2 of the pins will snap, but 2 on the other side won't fit.

Perhaps the tx3 is just not standard sized?

I don't know, but I'm just looking for a standard sized cpu cooler; that I can easily install without doing any fidgeting...

Also are there any coolers that use screws instead of pins?
