Well this was my original idea, http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RpWBhq
I know its overpriced ram and people say its not a good mobo or psu or cpu cooler..... Im staying with air cooling and the i7 because im not planning on doing much overclocking... alot of people are suggesting to move up to a gtx 1080 but i need to saty around the price range of this build... please make some list and explain!

1. I don't trust MSI motherboards.
2. Lower priced memory still red same performance.
3. Better drive setup. SSD for the OS and programs. another larger SSD for games, and another for storage.
4. Same performance from the video card but much lower price.
5. Do not buy the G1 series power supply get the G2 and the 650 Watt is more than big enough.
6. the WIFI card is lower price and you can put the antenna higher in the air instead of fixed at the back of the case.
7. These are good fans, lower price, and are quite also.
8. Same price.

The thing about the higher speed memory is you might get it to run at advertised speeds and might not without overclock the processor and/or adjusting the timings.

Best info ive gotten today... however why get the ftw over gaming z? Not that your wrong I just want to know why choose that over the gaming z.... also are those fans for intakes on front?

Ive heard bad things about msi mobos so I guess ill go with this one, however what if I want to stick with the msi gpu... does this mobo support it?

The motherboard could card less what brand video card you use. For the video card as I said same performance at a much lower price. The fans are for the front of the case.
The video cards get mounted upside down both cards have a backplate. Actually the MSI card has a bit higher clock rate.

Hi,

Your motherboard is absolutely fine, in-fact, I'm currently using that same motherboard! :) My whole PC is MSI and Intel based, MSI Z170A Gaming M5, MSI GeForce GTX 980 4G and i5-6500 (planning on upgrading to i5-6600k or i7-6700k in future). Air cooling your i7 will be perfectly fine if you do not plan on doing heavy overclocking; if otherwise, then I would recommend switching to a water-cooled PC. What is your price range? As well, I would recommend getting an 802.11AC wireless adapter, not an A/B/G/N.

If you have any further questions, about my build (using MSI products) or any other questions, feel free to reply.

Thanks.

Any particular reason? I've had 4 MSI motherboards and never had a problem with any of them. 2 of my systems currently run MSI motherboards - one Z97 and the other X79, and I haven't had any issue with them, other than a dead RAM slot, though that's mainly the fault of the RAM. Agree on the PSU.

Yes, MSI motherboards are completely fine. My friend and I both have MSI motherboard and video card-run PCs, and both perform wonderfully!
