I need suggestions on which build is better and suggestions on each build if you see either or needs tweaking.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YXRQGX or this one....

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tfptQ7 the ram in this one is supposed to be red. not that, that matters. just saying.

And yes, I'm in between an intel build and an AMD build. I'm definitely not trying to start an argument I just want to know which system will perform better for gaming.

my monitor is an asus and resolution will be 1920x1080 only 1 monitor!

And like I said atop.... if you see room for tweaking in either build, I'm all ears. I have 1,500 to spend and I already own Windows. Not sure why I added it to the build.

Thanks :)

Ok I think this should meet all your specifications, silver an black case, black motherboard, all black GPU, in fact the only thing which isn't is the SSD, which I would suggest that you get as a boot disk and then get a 1tb WD black HDD as it will be a set up which works better for you in the long run, as even though the velociraptor is faster than the wd black, it is not worth the money http://hdd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/WD-VelociRaptor-1TB-vs-WD-Black-1TB-2013/1389vs1822

Better build with GTX-780 and cool "Hero" motherboard :)

The AMD build will be much more powerful and far more than you need to play at 1080p which is why I would go with this and seeing as you already own windows, you don't need to put it in the parts list. This will happily play all new games at 1080p or 1440p for the next few years at max settings (except watch dogs as AMD suffers big time from poor drivers at the moment) PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Thanks for the fast responses!

The Tower I chose is a must! I really like that Corsair tower. I do however try to keep my builds a matching color scheme. I prefer Black and Silver, but I'm open on that part. Sorry to be OCD on this. 😛

Oh! Also forgot to mention I already have the Corsair A70 CPU cooler I bought from ebay. I'd like to stay with air cooling as for I won't be doing any (heavy) OverClocking.

Hmm....I'm definitely thinking about some of these componants tho. I kinda like the SSD with the 1TB hard drive combo. As well as the Nice Mobo and GPU. :)

Ooh!! I like this build. *thumbs up* By chance does that GPU have LED lights on it? I like lights. LOL

Man! I like this one too! it's gonna take me forever to build this thing with all these options ya'll are throwing at me. lol

I really like this one too! i'm not sure what to do. I love all the Corsair products in this.

Ahh ok. np :)

instead of me being anal about manufactures and other dumb OCD's of mine ya'll were looking at practicality. Smart thinking.

That is what we are here for 😀

Good thing! 😀

I like certain things from all the builds. I'm going to pick them all apart and add my own things. when I'm done I'll post it and see what I come up with and ya'll can let me know if it's any good or not. I will admit I like the dual GPU combo tho. it's a new thing to me and it's serious eye candy. looks very cool!

Sorry, I missed this earlier, almost always it is better to have one stronger GPU than two weaker ones in SLI/crossfire, as then you don't have to worry about all the microstutter etc which goes along with multi GPU setups, but even so, generally, two weaker GPU's can outperform the stronger GPU like two 760's in SLI will happily outperform a 780ti at 1080p.
Sounds good and we'll happily pull it apart for you making it even better if possible

@ Nuckles

I'm really trying to find a black or black/silver color scheme for my PC. I'm having a hard time trying to find a MOBO with good reviews. I had really bad experiences with ASRock so I'm definitely staying away from them. I've always had GREAT experiences with Gigabyte. Asus I never tried so I know nothing of them. I'm trying my butt off to stay with intel and get the color scheme i'm going for, but it seems my options are very limited. AMD wise, gigabyte has a nice great review black motherboard. So if anyone has any ideas of a black color scheme Intel motherboard please throw them my way. trying not to go above 200 on the mobo, but I will if something is out there for what I'm looking for.

Also.... hard drive wise I just want to stick with 1 for now and I like the velociRaptor I have picked out. and I'm pretty dead set on the tower I chose as well. (Model wise) Corsair SPEC-03

On the exception of the hard drive I will be staying CORSAIR with every product they make for a PC. Memory/Tower/PSU/Memory cooler etc.... I love Corsair products.

Really stinks that I can't find a decent gaming board in black for Intel. I really wanted to buy the I5 4670k. 🙁 Unfortunately being able to enjoy looking at my PC is more important than having a better CPU.

Thanks in advance for any future advice to anyone who replies.

This looks good Nuckles. not sure how I missed that motherboard at newegg. I agree with you on the hard drive deal and you are right that it's a much better deal. I'll have to think on that. And as for my tower..... that corsair case is pretty classy/slick looking I'm still gonna stick with my spec-03.

Thanks for your time Nuckles. much obliged!

Hey Nuckles,

Sorry to be a pest, but can you look at this build and tell me if these gpu's will fit on my mobo at the sametime and will they fit in my case. I did another build. sorry. I really really like this build and hope it will all fit together size wise. and will my cpu bottleneck with both these gpu's or will I need to overclock the cpu. sorry so many questions.
