Hey guys, I'm looking for any knowledge of what you think about this build. Is this okay for a budget build?

Lastly, someone I was referred to gave me the price of $750 for the whole PC that he can build for me. I would like to check if I am getting the right price on this. What do you think? I also would appreciate the monitor being there on the list so I can look forward to getting a complete setup.

Thank you!

Hi, :)

Not much of a choice, It would be better if the price allows me to move towards Ryzen 5 3600. Anyways, I am thinking somewhat like this which might provide you a better value. You may have a look to get an idea.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($74.98 @ Amazon)
Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($53.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Silicon Power A60 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($54.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Video...
Thats not a terrible build, but you can get better value.

Getting 3rd gen ryzen (r5 3600, instead of the 2600) would cost, not identically, but similarly and be 15% better

A 1650 super instead of the normal 1650 would costs the same exactly and perform better

3200mhz ram, is also, not much above 2666 in price.

What psu is it?
True rated means nothing. there are craptastic 80+ gold psus.

What ssd is that?

Also what is the pc for? gaming? productivity? streaming?

Your keyboard & mouse bundle with a case is not involved, but the majority of it. Feel free to ask questions.

Perhaps, I'd say it's for gaming. Just planning to give something for my young nephew. He intends to play COD MW on it so I'm just looking for something that can do the work but not cost much.

If the build is strictly for gaming, and your budget doesnt allow you to step up to the 3600, I'd suggest going lower, and getting a 3300X.
2 fewer cores, but 12-20% faster cores.
