Right now I am planning on building a gaming PC. I am looking for good sources/websites for information on choosing the best/cheapest parts as well as general tips on building computers. I feel like there is so much information out there that it is hard to find the best source/information.

I am an inexperienced computer builder. I have only built one before. I find that it was relatively easy to assemble it since there is a lot of information out there that guided me through that process. My first computer was just a cheap basic build so I was trying to find the cheapest parts.

Also I am unsure about what to do after I build the computer to ensure everything is running fine. I heard that there are certain stress tests that you have to do to ensure that your build is stable. Are there any software that are recommended to be installed? What other things do you need to do to ensure that your computer is built correctly and last a while?

Thanks for all your help.
