Hello people, I want to upgrade my rig to overclock my cpu. I was planning on buying an Intel i5 4670k with a Corsair h80i water cooler. But I cant decide which motherboard to buy. Should I go for the Asus z87a motherboard? It costs 115 euros and you can get 35 euros cashback. And what is the difference about the z87a and the z87k? the k version costs 20 euros cheaper.

The Z87-a is SLI ready, has analog and s/pdif surround outputs, and has more power stages (better for an OC).

The Z87-k does not have these things.

If you know you won't ever run SLI on this system, wont need to run surround sound directly off the motherboard, and won't be shooting for big overclocks, the Z87-K should suffice.
I've been trying to find the difference and can't. My guess would be wireless card, but that is a guess. I know that Asus motherboards are highly rated and well liked. The Corsair H80i is also a very good closed loop system. I'll keep looking for the difference of the z87-a and z87-k
