Hi,
As said in the title I need to boot from a usb to install a Linux based OS (Solus 1.0).
The motherboard bios is "Aptio Setup Utility" version 2.15.1236.
When I stick the usb in its port it doesnt give me the option to boot it in non UEFI mode.
I tried to look around the bios but didnt find any option.

Thanks in advance

Solution
Go to advanced and boot. See if you see UEFI or secure boot, if you do disable them. Save and exit and open boot menu and boot to flash drive.

Open the bios on yourl aptop and disable UEFI it may also come up a LEGACY. Afterwards plug the stick in and it should boot to it. If it doesn't open the boot menu and boot directly to it.

The only option I see is "UEFI: Sandisk Extreme 0001"

On my other pc I could only boot directly into the usb with the option "Sandisk Extreme 0001"

No option to do that from what I can see,
It's the first thing I tried to do but couldn't find any menu to do so.
The menus I have are: Main, Advanced, Boot, Security, Save&Exit

I had already disabled secure boot, but also had to enable CSM in the boot menu for it to work.

Thanks :)

The laptop came with Windows 8.
I had already disabled secure boot, but also had to enable CSM in the boot menu for it to work.
