I use this system only for 3D work and video editing. No gaming at all.
I want to upgrade ssd to at least 1TB as C drive and RAM to at least 32 GB.
I am not a very technical person when it comes to PC components. I want to know if i can install new m.2 nvme 1 TB ssd on my motherboard?
I checked online sources but still confused.
I appreciate your advice. Thanks.

I am currently looking for SSD options below:
Western Digital WD SN550 1TB NVMe Internal SSD - 2400MB/s R, 1950MB/s W (WDS100T2B0C, Blue)
https://shop.westerndigital.com/products/internal-drives/wd-blue-sn550-nvme-ssd#WDS100T2B0C
OR
Samsung 980 1TB Up to 3,500 MB/s PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V8V1T0)

For RAM though I am not sure If i should go for 16x 2 = 32 GB (New kit) or additional 8x2 = 16 GB (extra with current setup).

My current setup:

CPU:
Intel Core i7 5820K @ 3.30GHz ,Haswell-E/EP 22nm Technology
MOTHERBOARD: MSI X99A SLI PLUS(MS-7885)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16
PSU: Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 750W Bronze
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO = 250GB (C drive)
HDD: Seagate 1TB + Western Digital 1TB = 2TB
COOLER: NH-D15S
DISPLAY: BenQ GW2765HT

Yes the mobo supports m.2 nvme.
Of your picks the samsung would be the better option.
Also consider just getting a 1TB 2.5 for a straight swap.

Ram...you can try getting another identical kit to what you have and give it a shot.
Make sure of the return policy if it turns out to be trouble.
