Question Need to connect to a tv 15 meters away

Hello,. I will be moving to a new house and i want to connect my pc to the living room tv. The problem is that the tv is about 13 to 15 meters away. I was thinking of buying a long hdmi cables like 20 meters. The other way i was thinking of doing this is by buying a cheap hdmi to Ethernet adapter from ebay and run it that way. My main concern is the latency. The tv is 4k but i will be playing in 1080p. I want you to Suggest me the best way i can run this without having latency problems. If you have any other suggestions, i would love to hear it

I have not personally run an HDMI over about 25', however a quick refresher read indicates that it should work reliably up to ~50' with a good cable.

50 feet is considered as a maximum for hdmi.
You are ok there if you can find a 15 meter high quality cable.
I would try that simple solution first and see how you do.

Not anything helpful than to say don't "cheap out". Perhaps do a web search for reviews/quality.

I have been pleased with Monoprice.
They have quality products.
Since the length of your run is approaching limits, measure your requirement carefully and try to buy a cable that is no longer than necessary.

Specifically look for an active cable. This will contain signal boosters inline to get the necessary reach. These also only carry a signal in one specific direction, so you have to look at the cable to see which end is the source end , and which is the destination end. If plugged in backwards, you will not get a signal
