Need to expand range of IPs on network

Greetings, I have a Zisa brand modem router. I recently bought a computer that has a static IP of 192.168.10.59 assigned to it and I cannot access it on the network. I have DHCP server enabled on my router, and the Start IP Address is [removed]
End IP Address is [removed] and the
Subnet Mask is [removed]. If I change the end ip address to be [removed] and chnage the subnet mask to [removed], will it recognize the new computer?

If the PC doesn't require a static IP address, just remove it and tell it to use DHCP. The DHCP range should be in the same subnet as your LAN setting.

So, if your LAN is set to 192.168.0.1, then your DHCP endpoints should be 192.168.0.x where x > 1 and x < 255.

In case you're not sure how to set up your network port properly:

On the PC that has the static IP address set, get into "Network and Sharing Center", typically from Control Panel (set "view" to small icons).

Then, at the upper left of the Network and Sharing Center window, click on "Change adapter settings". Then right-mouse click on the network adapter listed that is connected to the network, and click on Properties in the pop-up context list. Double-click on "Internet Procotol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and click the radio button next to "Obtain and IP address automatically", and also next to "Obtain DNS server address automatically".

That will do it.

I cannot access the computer to remove the static ip though. How do I do that with an avalon FPGA with a static ip.

If you are unable to change the IP address on that card, then your other option is to change the LAN settings and DHCP settings in the router to use 192.168.10.x. If you have any other devices that use a static IP address on the current subnet, they will need changed to 192.168.10.x. also. Basically, all devices need to be on the same subnet in order to talk to each other.
