I've got everything I need except for the case. I have a GTX 745 right now, but will be upgrading to a GTX 970 soon, so please suggest a case that can use both of these.

Here's the PSU I'm looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151121&cm_re=seasonic_660w-_-17-151-121-_-Product

Here's the Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130770&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Intel+Motherboards-_-N82E16813130770&gclid=Cj0KEQjwmNuuBRDTu5rDjr2kxJsBEiQAWlm6UptYkhxnszqJ608tZpsgHgjefHQ7PytIZyAkU1X29SoaAkaE8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have an Intel i7-4790 (not the K variant) and I need to know if it will work/fit in the motherboard (UBER NOVICE AT PC BUILDING. THAT'S WHY I HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS).

P.S. I need to know if ALL the aforementioned parts are compatible with each other. This is my first PC build (had a friend build the one I'm using right now) and am super nervous.

Solution
Yes, the motherboard will work with the CPU, though since you do not have a K, you might as well look at H97 motherboards.

The PSU will work excellently with everything - it's a SeaSonic platinum!

Pretty much any tower ATX case will fit them - it really comes down to aesthetics and the case's features.

The Phanteks cases have been getting a lot of love in the enthusiast community lately.

For the exact case, if you're worried about fit, you'll...

For the exact case, if you're worried about fit, you'll need to know exactly which GPU you're going with - different brands will have some variability because of such things as their cooling solutions. Now, a full tower ATX, you'll typically be able to fit most of a store inside, but you might choose something else.

Solution
The motherboard is a ATX size.
There are many cases that will hold that.
They will also hold the psu which is excellent and appropriate for a GTX970.
You are good.

Pick a case you love, and be prepared to bust your budget for it; it will last you a very long time.
My criteria woud be:
1. able to fit a ATX sixed motherboard.
2. Have front intake capability equivalent to two 120 or 140mm fans.
3. Have a washable front intake filter.

Here are two.
