Hi Everyone,

I have a DYMO LabelWriter 450 printer which I would like to share over my network. It is currently connected to a Windows 7 64 bit computer, and I would like to print to it from a different Windows 7 32 bit computer. To allow for this there is a section for adding additional drivers to the printer under Windows 7 64 bit (as shown below)

My challenge is locating 32 bit drivers for this printer. Whilst the manufacturer does have a drivers download page there don't appear to be any "standalone" driver files. Instead all that is offered are "installer packages" for the appropriate versions of Windows. Of course the 32 bit installer won't run on a 64 bit computer so I am in a catch 22 at the moment.

Any help with locating an appropriate driver will be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Davo

Brett is right. More specifically, move the device to the 32 bit machine. Install it on there like you normally would. After it is installed and working, move it back to the 64 bit machine. When you go to find the shared printer on the network, manually select the drivers you just installed. Can't figure out where drivers end up? Point the driver search to c:\windows\system32 and let it go from there.
