Hi all!

So.. I've got a mobo (Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R) and it says that I can use 240 pin DDR3 ram. It says that I can go with either 2200/1333/1066/800.

I'm having trouble finding the right ram. Could someone help me with suggestions to what kind of ram I should look for?

Right now, I have HyperX T1 Series 6gb (DDR3 1800)

Thanks in advance for your help!

then go with a nice 1600 kit depending on what windows you run at least 16gb

that mixing memory is not too recommended and if your sticks are old but there the same sold today theres no guarantee the same ic's are still being used on them today as were used back when you first bought them

as the rule --all ways best to buy matched kits

I also seen where older chipsets and newer memory can have issues as well due to ic changes in the memory over what was used on them in the past ..
