Need to find what ram a certain dell laptop uses

I want to gift a ram upgrade to a friend.
He has a 1x4gb and a free slot.
That's what his laptop properties wrote as the model identifier

I think its ram is 11-11-11-28 but I need to know its voltage too, right?

If you know the model of the laptop you can go to Crucial’s website and they have a tool to figure out what’s compatible with your system. however if you’re going to fill both slots then you should buy a matched set of two sticks. I would find out how much ram pick and support because 2 8gig sticks Would probably be fairly cheap.

Sometimes when you just add a second stick even if it’s the same timings and voltage and everything it may not work properly that’s why I mentioned a matched set
