Need to fix case !!! Nzxt h440

RANT: I wanted to buy a nzxt h440 black and red, So I went to the store and saw the box with the red and black nzxt h440, but when I got home it was all black fine, colour didn't bother me but NO WINDOW, why WHY would i but the h440 for no window, this was one of the selling factors for me or else I would have bought something cheaper. I went back and they said that they only had all black, so I build the PC.

Real Question: Now i want to know if i can turn the all black cae into the red and black I originally wanted, can i spray it or paint it, and then i also want a side pannal with a window so is there any place I can but one

You can take apart the case a paint the parts that you want. Make sure to use the right spray paint and sand it a little before painting. The wrong spray paint can lead to a shitty paint job and sometimes it can eat the plastic as it did to one of my cases. That was the last time I bought super cheap spray paint.
Now with the window, if you are skilled and have the right tools, you can order a window here and cut the hole for it yourself on the side panel.

If you dont want to do that, you can look online for a H440 Side panel replacement and see if anyone is selling one that would work for you.

Also, the painting of the case will void any warranty that you had if you had any.

ok thanks, can u recommend any paints and place where i can get a replacement window cuz i looked almost everywhere but i cant find one

You can get spray paints at your local hardware store. Just do some research to see which would be best for plastics. Unless you are painting metal parts then youll need one that works well with metals.

Well, the first thing you'll need to do is remove all the panels from the frame. I say all the panels because if you want a truly perfect paintjob, you want to ensure that all the exterior surfaces have the same finish. If it's possible to separate the red trim from the panels without breaking them, do that as well (It should be, but if you can't don't risk it).

The first thing you'll want to do is remove all the items that you do not intend to paint, such as the side window and any buttons/switches/mechanisms.

Next you'll want to use a fine grit sandpaper (I'm not sure what grit, but I'm certain someone else could provide a good suggestion) to scuff up all the surfaces of the panels. The reason for this is to provide a good surface for the paint to adhere to.

Next, you want to thoroughly clean the surfaces you want to paint in order to remove any fingerprints or sanding dust, which will affect the finish of the paintjob. The surface should be completely free of all of it.

As far as paints go, you want paint that will work on both metal and plastic. This is very important, as you want to make sure that the finished appearance matches on both the metal and the plastic components. I personally love Rustoleum, but others swear by Krylon and Valspar.
