Need to get a storage space for all my karaoke music .

I was told to get a 500GB external drive. I found one that is 16MB and wanted to know the difference and if it would work for what I need. the one I found is:
Fantom Drives G-Force 1 TB,External,7200 RPM (GF1000EU) Hard Drive 16MB

I this exceptable to hold thousands of Karaoke songs?

is 1TB, the 16MB is the cache.
so yes, it bigger then 500GB

I would go for 2TB USB drive like Seagate, WD, because you never know 🙂 What if you start adding Video Karaoke songs,
It's cheap and you can pick up those in Frys, Best buy, Walmart, Costco, Staples...

The cache memory does not effect karaoke application at all

Just remember rule#1 which is to never trust your important files to just 1 device.

Externals tend to fail more often then their internal counterparts so if those karaoke files can't be easily replaced then make sure you have them backed up.

Also, with an external drive, be sure to always eject or dismount the drive before you disconnect or power it off.
