Need to hook laptop to 2560x1440 through dvi-d

I have a laptop the have a mini display port, hdmi and vga outs. I need to hook it to my 2560 x 1440 crossover monitor. The monitor only has a dvi-d input. I have tried both active and not active mini display port to dvi-d and they both did not work. I have also tried a non active hdmi to dvi-d and it also did not work. I need to find something that will work with 2k. Thanks

Most of the Korean panels only have a dual link DVI input, is your DVI-D dual link?
