I am assuming you have a macbook with external GPU?
Because that's what the adapter is for.

Possibly it could work with the USB-C port on the 2060.

But if your monitor supports DisplayPort then you can just connect to the monitor with DP and connect HDMI to the VR headset.

Otherwise, if you use the adapter, I wouldn't plug both HDMI into the adapter for VR, you should plug one into the adapter, and one into the headset.

But a cheaper option is to use this Display Port to HDMI adapter to connect to your monitor then use the available HDMI port on the GPU to connect to the headset.

Ok thank you not using a MacBook but I will use the display port for the monitor. I did not think of that
