Ok, so i have this build its $1200 CAD and id like to lower the price down somehow to less than $1000 or maybe $1100. id prefer to keep the r9 390 and maybe the cpu. i looking to play at 1080p 50+ fps on games with high settings.
this is my perfect build but its a little bit over budget Thanks!
I'm open to any suggestion on better parts and such.

You can probably trim $100 or so.
Most any Z97 M-ATX motherboard will work.
GTX970 is comparable in capability, but needs 75w less power. 500w will do it.
EVGA 750w is tier 3 anyway.

You can buy a perfectly functional case for half, the nzxt 340, but I would not go that way, you really want a case you like.

You did not include an aftermarket cooler.
You want one of some sort if you will overclock the 4690K.
If you will not overclock, a cheaper i5 4690 will be equally good. even a i5-4460.

What kind of games do you play?
sims, strategy and mmo types depend on a single fast master core.
A I3-4170 is very good there.

If your games are fast action shooters, then put more into the graphics card than the cpu.

You could get by with a dual core (with hyperthreading) which would increase cpu time, but still give you 50+fps in all games that rely on the cpu. Also, XFX (and probably all graphics card manufacturers) come with a lifetime warranties so if you could find one used or refurbished that is still under warranty that would be a safe buy while saving about $100. You could also save $20 or so by changing to a WD Blue 7200, which is still a good drive, and then add an M.2 NVMe SSD at another time.
