need to make my new desktop gaming pc wireless

Hey all, I need to install a wireless adapter for my pc. I am going to be gaming online with Battlefield 4, Crysis 3, and Titanfall so I am looking for little to no lag at all. Which wireless adapter what you guys recommend? I would prefer a usb adapter over a card. My motherboard is a Asus Maximus VI Hero and using windows 8.1. I will be about 10 feet away from my router. I have Verizon fios 100Mbps/50Mbps. Thanks for the info in advance.

10ft? - I would go wired gigabit since your motherbd has a nice Intel Gigabit adapter built in.
