Commercial grade, consumer grade is all hype. The main difference between commercial ie enterprise wireless and consumer wireless is that they have features that let you mange the devices differently or are used to support multiple groups of users.
The radio transmission power is exactly the same since it is regulated by the various governments. Indoor wireless is generally said to go 100ft. Not sure where this number comes from since some houses you are lucky to get 30ft. It is unlikely you could go 200ft unless it was 1 big open room.
You don't have a lot of options. You could try to concentrate the power using direction antenna on your router and maybe you end device. Still there are no guarantees since some walls can absorb a huge amount of radio signal. Even thin metal films on windows can almost completely block wireless signals. The only other way it to extend the network via some form of wire and then put a AP on the far end to deliver the wireless.
