need to press power button multiple times for the PC to start up

This started around 1 year ago. My motherboard is a Biostar N68S3B, and my CPU is an AMD Athlon II x2 250. My OS is Windows 10 and I haven't changed/reinstalled it for around 1 year.
Ever since then I had to press the button 2-3 times for it to turn on, sometimes just 1 press was enough though. It didn't seem like something critical so I just let it like that. But recently something weird happened. I turned off my PC, the screen went black but then the PC restarted. I tried turning it off multiple times but the same thing happened. Out of ideas I unplugged the PC so it would turn off. Next day the PC started normally, but when turning the PC off, the screen turned off faster than usual, but the PC was still working and my mouse was also working(the lights were on). It turned off in like 30 seconds after the screen did. It has been like that ever since. Is this a motherboard issue or is it an OS issue? If I recall correctly this happened after an Windows update. Also, will this motherboard last 3-4 years more if looked after correctly?(I've never OC'd the CPU and won't plan to).

? It happens when turning the PC off. the mobo logo doesn't appear when you turn the pc off, atleast on my pc

Your computer monitor shuts off before computer does? Is that the Issue or is the issue that fact that it wont come on until pressed multiple times?

They are both issues.

Well have you been able to boot into windows at all or does it just stay on black screen. And can you access BIOS?

The PC starts normally and everything works fine, haven't tried entering BIOS but I'm guessing it works.

Your power button might have gotten worn out and takes some time before it recognizes a press. To test this id unplug the power button from the motherboard and bridge the two pins where it was connected to see if the pc comes on right away. As for your display turning off before the computer I wouldn't worry too much about as the GPU is probably told to turn of and does so quicker then the rest of the system. I've experienced this same thing with older computers.
