i plan to buy another gtx760 and use SLI. So i first i wanted to ask if 750W will be sufficent for my config and if so which one must i buy.
Ive found these 2 PSUs

2) www.amazon.in

My budget is between Rs 9000 to 10000 which is around 160$. I wanted your help in deciding which one I should buy. Also I'd be extremely grateful if you'll can suggest other models from various brands that are better than the ones mentioned above

Thanks

Solution

The Zotac GTX760 Amp is listed at 170 watts, you don't specify what motherboard you are using, but the total of all your components is around 500 watts (with 2 video cards). So a 750w power supply should be sufficient:

Component Estimated Wattage
Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor 10W - 84W
Cooler...
According to the Power Supply Unit tier list, the Seasonic is a much better brand (Tier 1 vs Tier 3 for the Corsair).

Personally I have an EVGA supernova NEX750B which I have been quite pleased with, but it is only rated as Tier 2. So I think the Seasonic would be a better choice.

i did not think about modular. if the seasonic is then i'd go that way too. first time i got one that was, it was night and day inside the case. i'm not sure i could convince myself to use a non-modular one ever again. :) i recommend them to others but........ in the end i prefer the nicer look of the modular cabling

Planning to get the msi Z97 GD65
Thanks a lot!!
Guess Ill take the seasonic PSU

That motherboard is listed as having a peak power draw of 70w.
Your optical driver (blue-ray?) will add another approx 30w (when burning).
Bringing your total to about 600w.
