need to replace power supply. but i cant exactly find what the power supply is.

want to replace power supply. opened up computer and found that the power supply is permanently mounted on the motherboard. so i have no idea how to replace it. we have a pretty old HP pavilion desktop. also the cord that you plug in to give it power looks like a laptop's charger port and not like the cord of a normal power supply. also i think this is just a laptop in a big case that needs a moniter because it is so empty inside. like wtf why is there so much empty space inside the computer?
