I have rescued the ssd from a dead surface pro 4. However, I can't plug it into my motherboard because it is a M.2 NGFF PCIe x4, and I only have PCIe x1 slots. Is there a way I can work around this with an adapter of some sort? Here is the ssd I am trying to rescue. https://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/product.aspx?item=9siv0u87cp6131&bri=9b-0d9-0009-002w9. Thank you very much.
Possibly this USB adapter:
