Alright so I am building a new computer, and it will have an SSD with Windows 7 as the boot drive, and a 1 TB HDD for storage of random downloads and stuff. And i have my old 500GB HDD in my old computer with Windows 7. I am unsure on how to take ONLY Windows 7 from my 500GB and transfer it to my SSD, and the transfer everything else to my 1TB HDD.
Someone please help! Thank you

"Alright so I am building a new computer, "
Your OEM Windows 7 license is tied to that original motherboard.

Your new PC needs a new license.
I just did this last month on my own system.

You ultimately want the SSD as your boot drive for the OS, and the 1 TB as your data drive.

You will need to load Win 7 fresh onto the SSD as a clean install. Then you will need to transfer your data off of your 500 GB to the 1 TB. You could do this via a USB flash as a go between, or directly by hooking up the 1 TB to your existing computer as an external drive with a SATA to USB, or even internally. In my case, I did it with a 3rd USB hard drive that I use for backups.

This depends a lot on what you have. Was it a preinstalled OS?
If not preinstalled, and you bought and installed it...was it an OEM or a Retail license?

It was pre-installed. I bought this system whole with the OS already installed.
