Need to uninstall an Intel onboard graphics card on my laptop

I'm currently getting extremely low fps (2-7 in Warcraft, .5 in Wildstar). I've disabled the onboard graphics card in Device Manager but it keeps coming back. I looked in Set Up and there isn't anything listed for integrated graphics. The laptop is no longer under warranty. I can't use the Nvidia Control Panel-the software says I don't have one installed. I posted the hardware specs below. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

a lot of laptops in the bios will over ride what set up in windows. look at the bios features for power savings and primary display in the bios. turn off power savings in the bios. also if the nvidia gpu does not show up take the battery and ac power off the laptop. flip it over and check that the gpu card is still seated.

Yes, I've set up a power profile based on performance. But, going into F2/Setup there is nothing there for me to change. I used shift/restart to look at those options and selected 'troubleshoot'. I didn't see anything there for me to change as far as the integrated graphics or my Nvidia card. The Nvidia card shows up in Device Manager. It isn't showing up in the Power profile - only the Intel.

If you have a dual graphic with Nvidia just open the Nvidia control panel and brows through the options there is one to force the laptop to use Nvidia card for everything even if you are only internet browsing.

If that doesn't work or doesn't keep the setting uninstall completely the driver, reboot and install (or re-install) the most updated version.

Unfortunately, the Nvidia Control Panel doesn't believe I have the card installed. I have lost count of how many times I have disabled, uninstalled and removed drivers for the Intel card. Also, I checked the connections as suggested and they appear to be secure.

I ended up just re-doing everything from scratch. I got the Nvidia control panel to recognize the card. Set up the profile and checked the power settings, as well. It seems to be working now but I"m not sure what set it off since there haven't been any driver downloads for a while.
