Question Need to unplug power supply and plug back in to turn on computer

I am having a strange issue with my new motherboard and cpu where I have to unplug the power supply until all of the capasitors have drained and then plug it back in otherwise it won't turn on.

The problem is in the PSU, I'm 95% sure. Have had this happen to me before. Return it or replace it. Maybe ask your friend to lend you his PSU just to make sure the problem is not somewhere else.

Only have been having this issue since I got my new motherboard and cpu. I've had this PSU for a couple weeks and it was working perfectly.
