CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: MSI B450M GAMING PLUS Micro ATX AM4
Memory: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory [OLD]
*Recently upgraded the RAM through a suggestion, YET STILL CAN NOT PLAY LoL at 144 FPS ----> G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18D-32GVK [NEW].
Video Card: Gigabyte OC Geforce RTX 2060 6 GB Video Card
Power Supply: SeaSonic M12II EVO 520 W 80+ BRONZE CERTIFIED FULLY MODULAR ATX Power Supply

I read this online years ago, and it stuck to me, apparently, League of Legends relies heavily on the single core power of a CPU, and intel excels in a single core power, thus many people noted that Intel CPU is better for LoL than AMD. If I upgrade to an intel, I need to also upgrade my motherboard... since the current is AM4, AMD socket. While yes, the fps can reach 500 fps in game while idling, during actual gameplay like laning, it gets to 150, and then team fights it gets to 110... that's insanely bad.

What do you think? upgrade to a stronger AMD Ryzen or new intel cpu+motherboard?

you don´t necessarily have to change the entire platform .
just update your bios to a latest version with your current cpu and upgrade to ryzen 5600/5600x or 5700x/5800x
single core performance improved a lot between 3xxx and 5xxx so it will be the cheapest solution to your problem .
5600x has a single core performance somewhere between 11th and 12th gen intel i5/i7 processors so it is a best deal for you .
since you would have to go for 1700 socket for better single core performance and that would be much more expensive .

I see 5600 has 154 pts for single-core, 5700x has 156 pts... 2 pts difference yet 100$+ more... I guess 5600 is best for cost? 5800x is 161 pts and 500$... 5600 250$, 5700 400$
5600x seems expensive also, 400$...

yes 5600/5600x are the best value for money if the difference is 100+ dollars .
for example in my country the difference between 5600 and 5700x is currently only 40 bucks so i would buy 5700x in this case .
but generally speaking most of the time 5600/5600x are the best value for money options .

also it doesn´t make sense 5600x is so expensive in your location , definitely buy 5600
(the only difference between the two is 200MHz lower clock speed which is basically nothing)
