Need to Upgrade my Motherboard

Hi,

I have Compaq Presario SG3620IL Desktop PC and it motherboard stopped working. As the motherboard is dead now, I am looking for a new motherboard and would like to upgrade.. Could anyone let me know what option do I have for choosing motherboard.

And also what Graphic card can I use it with the new motherboard?

Please let me know if any other information needed.

Before you read all this, i would like you to know that getting a new pc is probably a better option.

the motherboard is quite old now and it uses nForce 430 chipset.
Manufacturer's motherboard name: ECS MCP61PM-HM
HP/Compaq name: Nettle3-GL8E

it comes with on board graphic.

if that's not an option.
alternatively, you can get a mATX, motherboard supports AM2+ socket and ddr2 667/800 ram.

similar boards re-certified cost around $USD 100-150 from newegg.
you might be able to find cheaper motherboard (used) on ali-express or ebay.

most of these boards don't come with graphics card, you would need pci-e graphics card for display, i think a gt710 (about $50) is probably one of the cheapest graphic card you can get right now.

keep in mind that after mobo swap, you might have some issue with windows activation, in that case, there is another $100.
