I need to upgrade my gaming PC because I've noticed FPS dropping in games recently. Mainly BF4, I run it on LOW Settings and get <30 FPS, MEDIUM and HIGH are no better. My Specs are:

Windows 7 Home Premium
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor 3.30GHz
RAM: 8.00GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
HDD: 1.36TB

So what would you recommend to upgrade and if you could which parts I should upgrade them with. Obviously I can't be spending too much money so keep that in mind.
Thanks

You Should definitely change your graphics card. The r9 280x would be great. On the CPU side, overclocking would suffice, but if you can, upgrading to a core i5 4670k would be perfect.

I'm pretty sure my drivers are up to date, at least Catalyst Control Centre told me they were. Thanks for your advice, do you think there may be something other than my pc being a little out of date?

See if your CPU or GPU is overheating.

CPU is at around 58 degrees Celsius, it's MAX is 59
GPU is at around 65 degrees Celsius, MAX is 69
All this is according to a programme I have on my PC called CPUID HWMonitor

7870 a quite a bit stronger than the 7700 series. The GPU upgrade is the best idea, and overclock the CPU as needed. At least turn off cool n quiet (Set a static frequency for the CPU, like 4.1 Ghz).

also
A) what resolution do u play at?
B)What is the PSU?

I play at 1980 x 1080, I've tried 1280x720 but isn't much better, an increase of maybe 5 FPS
I'm not sure what my PSU is, is the only way to find out is by opening up my PC?

yeah there will probably be a sticker on it that says the model...the fact that you don't know (and didn't install it yourself) means its probably a sub par unit and could very possibly be the cause. (improper or not enough voltage supplied to components.)
