i would like to upgrade my graphics card to be VR compatible.

what card would you recommend please.

Hello! Whats your budget for the graphics card? I personally would go for AMD rx 580 8gb for vr. rx 570 is also vr ready but rx 580 would be better. If you like Nvidia then go for GTX 1060

If you want another brand, then you can change but do remember price will vary especially for gtx 1060 but you will get nice things like better heatsink, cooling sytem, clock speed etc also better asthetics.

Does the power supply in your Dell unit have any PCIe power connectors? Your new graphics card is going to require them and if your power supply doesn't have them, it will need to be replaced.

Not enough information in those links to tell if the power supply has the necessary power cables. Look for either a 6-pin (2x3) power cable available from your power supply or a 6+2-pin (2x3 + 2x1) power cable. If you're not finding them, then you're going to need to replace it.

From what I'm finding online, you can just swap out the power supply with a standard one but you may need extra cables for the slim-line DVD drive

1 x 6 pin
And
1 x 6 pin and 1 x 2 pin
