Need UPS for my build

Hi there,

I would like to know which UPS would give me back up time(5 to 10 minutes is sufficient) for my build

Fx 6300 processor
Asus ASUS M5A97 R2.0
R9 270X 2GB
Carbide corsair 300R
Kingston hyperX 2 x 4 GB
Cooler Master H212x cooler
Seasonic s2ii 520W

Please suggest the UPS which should work with my seasonic 520 W supply. I live in India and budget would be around 3000 INR.

Any APC/Tripp-Lite UPS would work just fine.

You want a UPS that supports PFC. Most modern ones will, but check before you buy just in case.

I'm partial to APC, TrippLite and even some CyberPower units.

Depending on load, 800-1300VA should be enough. But this can vary greatly depending on whether you are drawing 150w surfing the web and watching youtube or drawing 300w+ gaming.

For this requirement, would this 600VA enough or should i go to 850VA of APC(Link given below)?

600VA is definitely not enough. It will be overloaded and won't switch over to battery backup especially if the power interruption occurs while you're gaming.

You should be looking for a 1000 VA UPS at a minimum. I highly doubt that you can get one for 3000 INR.

The OP requires a UPS that runs on 230 Volts AC.
