Hello all,
So I was playing a game, about an hour ago, I was running it at about 60fps with vertical sync on. The temperature didn't exceed 77 degrees.
Suddenly the screen goes blank, as it would if a game crashed. Then the screen turns off, and my graphics card fans revvs up fully. I then turn the computer off by the button, as the screen was completely off on standby like there was no input detected. And with the fan running as fast as it can on the graphics card, I needed to act fast as I knew for a fact something wasn't right.
About 10 minutes later I turn on my computer as normal and there are green horizontal lines all over the screen, soon as the windows 8 loading wheel disappears, the screen stays black with the green line staying present.
I've since taken out the graphics card and tried the on board diplay output and it boots up perfectly, like nothing happened. I've put the grpahics card back in and it's not booting up with the green lines still there. Is my graphics card completely fried? I have only had it about 2-3 months.
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 660
CPU: i3 550
Ram: 4gb
I have been playing games like Battlefield 3 for hours and this suddenly happens with a newly installed game. Batman: Arkham City.

I'm at a complete loss and banging my head against the wall.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan.
