Hey!
So I got this new ssd
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07J2WBKXF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_jaYLrOeUEgfmH

My laptop is MSI GF63 thin 9rcx.
https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GF63-Thin-9RCX/Specification

I wanted to install both drives ssd+ HDD. Use ssd as the boot drive and use HDD for other storage purposes. But I'm unable to make them work.

When I installed the nvme m.2 ssd in the slot it was detected by MSI dragon centre and the disk management and almost all softwares like AOMEI.
I tried cloning drives, but it didn't work so I decided to do fresh windows install on to the SSD by using a USB drive and windows ISO file. Windows got installed. I removed all partitions, deleted everything. All this was done.
BUT
When I tried to boot using the SSD, I didn't find the option for m.2 ssd in the boot priority list.
The BIOS does detect the SSD as it's listed in the PCIE information but it still isn't being detected in the boot priority list. I have no idea what to do next please help me out.

A few images of bios:

Please help me out!
Thanks a lot for your time!

Solution
Its done. I removed the HDD and installed with only ssd inside and now it was there in the boot priority list. It's all done.
Now can I install HDD back in it?
Use it for storage purposes?
Ssd will still be the boot drive right?
Power down.
Connect the HDD.
Power up.

Now it SHOULD boot to the SSD...but just to make sure...what I do is go into the BIOS and just make sure the SSD is at the top of the boot order...and while I was there....I would make sure the BIOS saw the HDD. Then I would SAVE the BIOS and exit and that should be it.
Why didn't the clone work?
When you did the clean install, did you only have one drive connected?
Hi!
When I cloned, everything got copied. But not as the boot drive but only as a copy of the drive that's it.
When I clean installed win10 from usb BOTH SSD and HDD were installed in the laptop.
Actually right now I'm trying to install win10 again with ONLY SSD inside laptop. I've removed the HDD for now.

^^^^this is what you want to do.

Try this and see what happens.

As far as your cloning issue....I think you either cloned wrong....or when you went to boot the clone....you had the original drive still connected.

Done! Everything works fine. Boot drive is 500gb ssd. I partitioned hdd in to two drives of 300 & 600 gigs approx.

Thanks a lot!!
