Hello all, let me get straight to the point.

My PSU is an EVGA Supernova 750w G2 80 Plus Gold.
My GPU is an MSI R9 390.

I installed my GPU looked for the correct VGA cables in the PSU box. The GPU takes an 8 pin followed by a 6 pin, and obviously another 8 pin is needed for the connection to the PSU. However, all that was in my PSU box was an 8 pin connector with a 6+2, another 8 pin connector with a 6+2 and yes... another 8 pin connector with a 6+2. In total it came with 4 of these.. I need a cable with one 8 pin and 6 pin for the GPU and an 8 pin long enough to reach my PSU from the GPU. I have no idea what to do now and I don't know where to get an adapter! I searched online but I can't find any. All help is appreciated!
Also, my GPU came with a short cable that has 8 pins on one end, which are smaller than the 6 pins on the other end. Is there any way I can make these work?? I'm clueless.
Thanks!

Yeah I get it but there isn't any 8 pin to route back to the PSU.

maybe post a picture of what cables you have spare? because i am not sure anymore.

but cant you use 1 6+2 for the 8 and 1 6+2 for the 6?

If I connect a 6+2 to the 8 and connect that one to one of the VGA sockets in the PSU, and then use another one of the cables 6 for the other GPU slot (with the 2 hanging) and the other 8 back into the second VGA slot on the PSU, is that meant to work? Because I tried that.
Pictures incoming btw!!

yeah cant u use https://gyazo.com/b9536b1c5457f4a8b5e2d5fa7584f1a8 those for the videocard?

Yeah it's an 8 and 6+2, I can. But there is no other cable to route back to the PSU that is an 8 pin.
Basically the cable isn't a 3 way it's a 2 way 🙁

i dont see a problem?

Oh wait, so you can use two of the VGA slots on the PSU for one GPU? I did that and booted the PC, everything was working but no picture on the monitor??
I'm just confused now please explain it lol I'd appreciate it lots!

did you put the cable on the videocard or on the motherboard slot? it should work like that (if you put the cable on the videocard)

I done the exact configuration you showed on the diagram. Just GPU and then to PSU.

Basically, is it okay to use 2 VGA ports on the PSU for one GPU? Will it still work??

Yes to the video card
