Recently bought a new rig for temp usage. It had what appeared to be a dying CPU so I replaced that. After replacing the reading showed to close to max heat while... well writing just this post. Leading me to believe the CPU fan was also inadequate. So I need to replace that as well, but as I've never actually worked with the type of motherboard (Asus P5NE SLI). I am unsure as to if there is any closed loop water cooler available for it, or at the very least a better CPU fan to keep it cooler as right now it is running at.

for the cores. So now have the issue of the computer shutting off when the cores get to hot from gaming which usually happens in about an hour or two. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. I'll also be looking myself to see if I can't figure it out on my own.

Sys Mod: psX400
CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme Q 6850
RAM: 8gig
Vid: NVidia GeForce 8800 GTS
Sound: Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS
PSU: 650w
MB: Asus P5ne sli
OS: Window 10 home 64 bit
Primary HDD: 250g
Secondary HDD: 500g

EDIT: Looking at my HDD the primary is also running twice the standard heat. Should I replace it? I mean my secondary is running at normal heat in the same area. So not sure of the issue there.
