Need white motherboard for view 71 8700k (snow theme)

Hi,

I just purchased a thermaltake view 71 snow case. It looks awesome. I am going to be doing a white/gray build. So far I have the case, as well as a white aio cpu cooler.

I saw a few motherboards from msi that were arctic themed but they are non-overclocking boards. It will be for an 8700k.

Any suggestions on a board that would go with a white/gray theme but has support for:
- NVidia SLI
- Overclocking CPU/Ram XMP profile support
- Is a Full ATX or EATX board
- Budget isn't really an issue

I cant find any white Z370 motherboards, none with a white PCB. The closest I found to white was the ASUS Z370-A.

This generation they went away from the White/Black boards for a more neutral color so they could slap RGB on everything. Z270 has some nice choices, but you might wait for Z390 boards, might be a decent choice there. And then you could go for 9th gen.

I did not know that NZXT made motherboards.

Some thoughts on your requirements:
1. sli is not a great idea when we have some very strong RTX2080ti cards coming.
sli is prone to stuttering, screen tearing and non support in an increasing numbers of games.
2. Any Z370 based motherboard will have xmp support and will OC decently.

Oh that is just what I was looking for honestly. I don't like those newegg reviews but the amazon ones seem ok. I wanted the tomahawk arctic but for the 8700k they really must have dialed back the features on it... (no SLI/OC capabilities). Anyway, if I don't end up waiting for the 9th gen I definitely think I will go with this setup.

Quick compatibility question. For the motherboard that you linked, would I be able to use a samsung 970 pro m2 drive?

I don't see why not. It has several M.2 ports, and if I am not mistaken a U.2 as well.
