Hey there , thanks for reading my thread here , i really need your help , as I want to know if I could just upgrade my gpu , will this setup still be playable for new games at 1080p at least with 60 fps ? I tried upgrading my gpu to gtx 770 which I got on sale last year but for some reason I couldn’t get it to work and had to refund it , can you recommend me on upgrading this setup , as im still in uni and I don’t have much to spend on this pc , which has been with me since 2013 . Thank you for helping me .

Solution
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 - Specs Page
Since the motherboard has Hybrid EFI BIOS, that should be sufficient for any modern GPU.

GeForce GTX 770 Specs page
The GTX 770 has a max power draw of 230 watts and requires additional power directly from the power supply. According to the specs, it requires one 8-pin plus one 6-pin PCIE power connection from your power supply and according to the CoolerMaster Elite 400 - Specs Page, it only has one 6-pin PCIE power cable.

The GTX 770 didn't work in your system because your power supply was insufficient for the card.

What is your upgrade budget for both a new power supply and graphics card?

Ah I see, no wonder I couldn't get it to work, damn I regret giving It back now , thank you for clarifying it , or I wouldn't have know about this pin pcie from PSU, I'm from Malaysia , GPU like 1650 super cost around 220 USD here, my total budget would be at most 250 USD for both a PSU and a GPU, I'm ok with at least 60 fps at 1080 p medium or low settings for newer games, thanks again for your time
