need your help

my desktop PC is turning off all of sudden as if someone pulled the power plug out, without any warning/error message.my PC is running on a dual core CPU, & its temperature is mostly around 42-45C. My PC also freezes sometimes. I just bought a new HDD about 6 months ago, and a new power supply unit about 2 months ago. please help me out

Are you doing intensive tasks during the outages or is the computer at idle?

not that intensive.....

When did these problems start occuring? Was it around the time that you bought the new PSU?

no it just happened tommorow......and freezing thing happened about half a month ago.....

For the sudden loss of power, is it possible that your area experienced a brownout? Not a complete loss of power, but enough that your PSU turned off?

As for the freezing, is it a regular occurance or random? What are some of the effects of the freezing (looping audio, colored screen etc)?

but i use an UPS...the freezing issue is random....and there are no effects of freezing.....just the system freezes, even the HDD runs normally then....
