Hi guy not entirly sure if i'm putting this in the right section so please move it if required.
I'm getting a new chair for the PC, when i'm gaming i can spend 8 hours+ at the the computer, i have noticed my back getting a bit sore after a couple hours and am sure that it's my chair " only 23". So i found this site called needforseat.de and they have some very nice seats called DxRacer. Then today i just googled DxRacer and got a site called DxRacer.net and thats where it got a little strange. None of the chairs on the DxRacer.net site are the same as the chairs on the NeedForSeat.de site?! Anyone else find this strange? I'm not sure what to make of it, is one of the sites a fraud company trying to use a good brand name or does anyone else know why this is?
If someone could please let me know there experiences with either of these companies it would be great. 300euro is alot to part with if the chair isn't going to last more then a year.

my guess would be that needforseat is the original and that dxchair is a knockoff.

the needforseat version looks to at least be built better than the other version and typical office chairs which normally break it about a year.

what i like is the fact that it has metal feet unlike the plastic feet on most chairs (i've had them break) and that it has a metal frame unlike the single piece of plywood most seats have. what i am unsure about is the tilt mechanism. if that is also high quality metal it sounds good to me.

there are likely other products out there (such as herman miller chairs) but at a bare minimum spending $300 on that chair looks to be better than spending $300 on a generic office chair at your local store. at least from what i can tell according to photos of its construction and my knowledge of how most office chairs are constructed (since we rip them apart and trash them every year...)

dxracer.net is the official page and shop of the manufacturer in Europe. In the US, the official site and shop are dxracer.com. needforseat is just one of the resellers in Germany. A few months ago I ordered a chair from needforseat and I had to wait for it for 1 1/2 months. Whereas my friend ordered one from dxracer.net and had his chair within 3 days!

I just find it strange that none of the seats on needforseat.de are the same as the seats on dxracer.net

Ok so i thought it would be best if i just gave an update to this post.
I bought one of these seats from the needforseat.de site, the DXRACER "COMMANDER" S II to be precise and what can i say but WOW.
The chair was out of stock at the time of ordering "I knew this because it said it on the site" which was the start of December, they told me it would be after Xmas before i got the chair or into the start of 2014 which i didn't mind at all. When the chair came the packaging was the best i have ever seen, so much foam board and everything wrapped nice and snug in the HUGE box. The first thing i noticed was the quality and how well it was all put together. I got to assembling this straight away which only took me 20-30 mins, got my cup of tea ready and sat down at the computer. Its so comfortable, I can easily spend 12 hours "if i need to" at the computer without any problems, my back feels so much better now then it did with the old xRocker 2011 seat i was using before.
I just wanted to update this thread so people know that these seats are so good, its hard to describe. I fully recommend getting one. It is worth the money i paid for it. 1 month down the line with 6hours+ almost every day and there is no sign of wear on it.
I also think it might be good to point out how helpful the guys as the company are too, Both times i got in contact with them i had a reply within 15 mins, which i think just says it all about this company.

use it for a year and then post back the condition the chair is in.

i think that is what most of us would like to hear.

i only get a year out of standard office chairs which cost $150-200 since they are shoddy quality. the dxracer/needforseat look to be beter built though only a reveiw after a year of use can really say for sure how they will last.

thanks for the update though. please do post back again after you've been using it for awhile

Added to my calender :)

So how does the seat doing?

Hi, the seat is great, couldn't be any happier with it and I no longer have back problems :bounce: .
I would say it is 99% as it was the day i opened the box. There's a bit of stitching loose about 10 mm long towards the rear of the seat that i didn't notice until i just inspected it now. The only bit that bugged me at first was that the armrests are a little wobbly but it's not a big issue.
I think they sell a different brand now but they look to be just as good.

Everyone should know that the chairs Need for Seat were selling as DXRacer chairs were actually imitation chairs - even though they sold them as DXRacer chairs, they will not honor them now since DXRacer forced them to stop selling fake chairs.

My friend bought a $600 Raptor XL, and the frame is completely ruined after less than 2 years of use. Need for Seat now calls these chairs Maxnomic, and do yourself a favour and avoid them at all costs.

Also, neither DXracer nor Need for Seat will assist my friend - so he spent over $700 after shipping, and now has a broken chair.
