I'm looking to build a new computer and have the parts by christmas.

Budget is $1,500 USD excluding shipping.

Looking to buy an entirely new system without peripherals and OS (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Mousepad, etc.)

For part preference, i'd only prefer a normal SSD that is a drive rather than a chip, a case with a side window, and i'd like the top of the case to be flat as i have no desk and am forced to use the top of my case to support my mousepad and mouse.

The main use of this system will be for Gaming, however it will also be used for general use.

I'd also prefer all parts being from Newegg if possible.

My monitor resolution is 1920x1080.

Solution
Black/Red theme build, for a desk get a basic table that will support the monitor, k/m, speakers like I have (check my build). The build is more then powerful enough to run 1080P (60+FPS) and will allow for CPU overclocking if you'd the option.

Here is a cheaper build (still good for gaming) that would allow you to use your remaining money to buy a desk.

This does not include a monitor or Windows license. It is not the cheapest parts, but very good ones. It could be argued that the GTX 1070 is overkill for 1080p, but with the 1070 you have room for extra stuff in the future like HDR, VR and faster monitors.
