Needing help i am locked out of my asus windows 8 laptop

Ok so i dont have a disc or usb and i need to reset my asus windows 8 laptop and i tried the f9 thing snd it dont even show windows popping up or anything . it goes straight to sign in

No i am trying ro reset the password my family member passed and we Was trying to retrieve pictures and stuff she had stored
