Needing help to make my computer great.

My computer has a IntelCore i5-3350P at 3.10Ghz, a GeForce GTX 1050ti graphics card, 12gb of ram and a 750wt power supply and it can barely run most games at medium settings. Is there anything that I could do or get to achieve the high setting graphics I'm looking for?

You can start by telling us what your max budget is and what games you play. Your CPU actually scores higher on Passmark than my i7-950 did, which hung pretty well even with a 1080 Ti I tried last holiday season. So I'd start with just a GPU upgrade if you're on a tight budget, maybe something like a 1060 6GB, which can be had for under $240.

My budget is $300 and I normally play like the Battlefield franchise, Fallout and I use a Oculus rift head set

And is gpu different then a graphics card?

GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit, it's just an acronym for graphics card.

Seems I guessed right, if $300 is your max budget, that puts you in the GTX 1060 6GB range.

This one is a pretty good deal and clocked higher than most 1060s. I have the 1080 version of the same card and it's a great GPU.
