Needing help with upgrading GPU

Hey guys

I've been looking at upgrading my GPU from stock to a GeForce gtx 960 but I am very computer illiterate and live in a remote location without access to someone who knows what they are doing.

I have an Intel i5-4460s @ 2.90ghz with 8GB RAM and, after taking the cover off, I believe I have max 200W power supply. I know that will have to be upgraded.

If you guys could help me understand if I can actually use the gtx 960, or any other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

Like you said, you need to upgrade your PSU. A good power supply is the Seasonic S12II 520 BRONZE. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii520bronze

After that, you should be free to put in the new GPU and plug it in, assuming you have a PCI-E x16 slot in your motherboard.
